FOCUS
I lead new investments at Eka and work closely with the founders we invest into. Eka means “first” in Sanskrit and reflects how I see the role: be the first investor in companies defining the future economy, and the first call founders make, when things are great, and when they’re not.
INTERESTS
I’m drawn to founders who see the world differently and do something about it. The ones creating new categories or rethinking existing ones. The founders who are building things that genuinely improve how we live and move us towards an economy defined by inclusive abundance.
BACKGROUND
I founded Eka in 2018, after a decade investing in consumer companies, early at MMC Ventures, later at Burda Principal Investments who respectively are investors in Bloom & Wild, Gousto, Mubi, Vinted and Etsy, businesses that didn’t just scale, but changed behaviour. Eka is built on that belief: Invest in founders creating companies that improve and bring joy to everyday life. My interest in consumer entrepreneurship started early, with buying and selling horses as a teenager, before studying law at Oxford and working at Bain & Company across London, San Francisco and Tokyo.
PERSONAL
I go all in. London is home, I love its energy, creativity, and constant motion. But I’m equally drawn to the opposite: mountains, solitude, and nature's scale. That tension shows up in how I spend my time; hiking in the Himalayas, running marathons,or getting obsessed with whatever I’m exploring that month or year.
